Rajgir (Bihar) | In the Asia Cup hockey tournament, India crushed Kazakhstan 15–0 to register their third consecutive victory. The Indian team had already secured a place in the Super 4 from Pool A.

For India, Abhishek scored four goals (5th, 8th, 20th, 59th minutes), while Sugurth Singh (15th, 32nd, 38th) and Jugraj Singh (24th, 31st, 47th) completed hat-tricks.

Other goals came from Harmanpreet Singh (26th), Amit Rohidas (29th), Gurjinder Singh (32nd), Rajan Singh (54th) and Dilpreet Singh (55th). India led 7–0 by halftime. Earlier, India had defeated China 4–3 and Japan 3–2.

The winner of this tournament will qualify for next year’s World Cup.
